Plans & billing

Pageview usage

Every plan includes a monthly pageview allowance. The Billing page shows how much of it you've used, so you always know where you stand, and exactly what happens if you reach the limit.

Where to find your usage

On the Billing page you'll find a Pageviews this month card. It shows your usage as used / limit with a percentage and a small meter, plus the date your allowance resets.

What counts as a pageview

A pageview is counted when adfit runs on a page a visitor loads on your connected sites. A few things to know:

  • The allowance is a combined monthly total across all your sites, not per site.
  • It's measured over a calendar month and resets on the first day of the next month.
  • Disabled sites don't count. When a site is paused, adfit doesn't run on it, so it uses none of your allowance.

Each paid plan has its own monthly allowance. See Plans & pricing for the numbers. Starter includes 250,000 pageviews a month, Growth 1,500,000, and Agency 10,000,000.

What happens when you reach the limit

Your usage never stops adfit from working, and it's never a surprise bill. Instead, adfit simply falls back to your original pages once you hit the cap:

  • When you reach your monthly limit, adfit shows the original version of your pages instead of personalized ones.
  • Personalization resumes automatically at the start of the next month, or as soon as you move to a larger plan.
  • Your data and settings are unaffected. Nothing is deleted; your sites, snippet and personalizations all stay exactly as they were.

Personalization pauses quietly

When you're over the cap, personalization pauses without any error on your site: visitors just see your original pages. The usage card is the place to check if you ever notice personalization has stopped.

Before you reach the limit

You don't have to watch the meter yourself. As you get close, the usage card gives you a heads-up:

  • At around 80% of your allowance, the card shows an Approaching limit notice with an upgrade option.
  • Over the cap, it shows a Limit reached notice, again with a quick way to move to a larger plan.

Need more headroom?

If you regularly approach your limit, moving to a larger plan raises your monthly allowance and keeps personalization running. Manage your subscription to change plans, or compare them on Plans & pricing.
